Three Wise Men III

The story: "The three cloaked boys stood their ground. Each had a different message to share. The first one, with his bold and cocky manner, seemed to challenge my presence. The next one, more friendly, was curious about who I was and what I had. The last one, the shyest of the three, was just along for the ride. He was there with his two buddies, but did not want to draw my direct attention.
The eyes are the gateway to the soul. So much can be said with a simple stare. Here, high in the mountains of Lesotho, I was face to face with that look, the felt sense that I was looking into timelessness. So proud and noble my three little kings stared me down until I turned and went my way."
